I had to squeeze in a few more minutes of home town love before I left. Leaving is always the hardest part.
I’ve been living out of saddlebags for the last couple months, but it’s about to get a lot more interesting.
I’ve got 500 miles on the XR so far. It’s running well. Compression seems reasonable, but it’s always hard to tell with the auto-decompression release. I’ll be keeping my eye on this:

Crossing the high deserts is always a pleasure, even if there’s pavement involved.
