Trying to get a older ZX600 running

Hey,

So I just baught a older ZX6 engine, that im trying to fit into a golf cart, but the current wiring is a complete web and I have already seen some frayed and broken wires. Im not to picky about having all the bells and whistles such as the cluster and the lights, just need the engine to turn over with the push of a button smile

Im used to working on dirtbikes, and this is a whole new world to me. Any tips for a simple wiring map, that wont kill my bank. All of the ones I have seen so far are around 500$.

Thanks, Justin

Notes from a Reader:
Hey Justin

Evan has some good diagrams http://cycles.evanfell.com/2010/03/simp … fe-racers/

I just got done, well almost with a 77′ KZ650 cafe re-wire project and used www.ripper1.comfor a sweet diagram too.

There is a thread here under my name where Evan gave me some help and I have a link to a good place if you need a regulator/rectifier too.

Good luck, my buddy has a golf cart with a jet engine out of a helicopter, way cool stuff to do.
My Notes:
Did this project get completed? I’d love to see some photos of a golf cart with a ZX6 engine in it! If you are still looking for it, here is a wiring diagram for a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6:
